T he Believer's Experience

Romans 6:3-5 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptised into Jesus Christ were baptised into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Likewise reckon yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus identified Himself with us at Calvary. We are to identify ourselves with Him in Water Baptism.

1 Corinthians 15:29 If Christ is dead. then what is the purpose of being baptised into His death. if the dead rise not, if there is no resurrection? The context is Resurrection.
